There were some issues with the WiFi. I appreciated the comfortable bed and overall spaciousness. I might not return due to the slow drainage in the shower, quite inconvenient.

The staff, especially the lady responsible for the breakfast, were very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the flat screen TV had a fine picture.

Someone, apparently with a political ax to grind, had blocked channel MSNBC and put a password on the menu so it could not be unblocked.

The breakfast spread was fantastic. My teenagers enjoyed the pool area, a perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing in Springfield. The location is also super convenient.

My wife says that the cleanliness of our room could use some serious improvement. We encountered some issues with dirty floors and the bathroom was not well-kept. A more thorough housekeeping routine would make it family-friendly.

The second room I was given had a sticky tile floor that just stood out. I regretted not doing that.

The pool and fitness center were great for family fun. The nearby shopping was a bonus! We felt looked after .

No noticeable downsides .

Location is a major plus. Unfortunately, the WiFi was inconsistent and I encountered bed bugs, which ruined the experience. The lack of prompt response from management regarding the issue was disappointing. Cobwebs in the room added to the neglectful atmosphere.

The holiday inn express had a decent location, made it easy to explore the area. The sauna was a nice touch. I also appreciated the indoor pool, great for unwinding.

Had a blast with friends! We loved the comfy beds and the awesome breakfast. Check out the local attractions. The museum and parks were a hit. Don't forget to ask the friendly staff for tips on where to eat. Definitely a fun stay, just be aware of the hotel's aging decor!
